Terms of Use
Last updated: 30 October 2026
The short version. ClutchCam is a free hobby project that points you at Twitch streams near the end of a battle royale match. It comes as it is, with no promises. Streamers are responsible for their own streams. The ClutchCam app only looks at your screen and never touches your game, but you use it at your own risk.
The full terms below are what count. Please read them.
1. Who we are
ClutchCam (“ClutchCam”, “we”, “us”) is run by M Taylor, a sole trader based in Scotland, trading as ClutchCam. You can contact us at clutchcam.support@gmail.com.
These terms apply to the ClutchCam website (at clutchcam.live, its earlier address final-circle-live.onrender.com, and any future ClutchCam address), the setup page and installer, and the ClutchCam streamer app (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
2. Who can use ClutchCam
You must be at least 13 years old, which is also Twitch’s minimum age. If you’re under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission, and they agree to these terms on your behalf.
3. Not affiliated with Twitch or any game
ClutchCam is independent. It isn’t made, endorsed or sponsored by Twitch, Amazon, Epic Games, Krafton, Activision, Electronic Arts, Respawn or any other game publisher or platform. Fortnite, PUBG, Call of Duty: Warzone, Apex Legends, Twitch and all related names and logos belong to their owners. We mention them only to say which games and services ClutchCam works with.
4. For viewers
- Streams on ClutchCam play through Twitch’s own embedded player. Twitch’s terms of service and privacy policy apply to anything you watch or do inside that player.
- We don’t create, check or control what streamers broadcast, and featuring a stream doesn’t mean we endorse it. Streams can contain strong language or content you may not like. To report a stream, use Twitch’s reporting tools, and you’re welcome to tell us too.
- ClutchCam chooses which stream to show automatically. It may switch streams without warning and won’t always pick the most exciting match.
5. For streamers
- Your account and key. You sign up by connecting your own Twitch account, and you may only sign up for a channel you own. You then get a personal ClutchCam key. Keep it private and don’t share it. You’re responsible for anything sent using your key. You can delete your account at any time from your account page. We can pause, block or delete accounts, and cancel keys, at any time and for any reason.
- Your stream is your responsibility. You must follow Twitch’s terms and community guidelines, and the rules of any game you play. You’re responsible for everything in your stream.
- Permission to feature you. By using ClutchCam, you give us permission to show your live Twitch stream (through Twitch’s embedded player), your Twitch name and your match information on ClutchCam, and to mention your channel when telling people about ClutchCam. You can withdraw this at any time by stopping the app and asking us to remove your key.
- No guarantees. We don’t promise that you’ll be featured, how often, or how many viewers you’ll get. ClutchCam is free and you won’t be paid for taking part.
- Accurate reports only. Don’t send fake or altered match information, or try to get featured when you aren’t really in a match.
6. The ClutchCam app
- We give you a personal, free, non-exclusive right to install and use the ClutchCam app to take part in ClutchCam. You may not sell it or pass it off as your own.
- The app reads a small corner of your screen, or a video source you choose in OBS, to find the “players left” number. It works only with the picture, in the same way screen capture and streaming software do. It doesn’t read, change or inject anything into your games or their files.
- Use it at your own risk. Game publishers and their anti-cheat systems make their own rules, and these can change. We can’t promise that every publisher will always treat the app as acceptable. It’s your responsibility to check that using it fits the rules of the games you play. We aren’t responsible for any warning, suspension or ban on any game, Twitch or other account.
- The setup installs Python from python.org (if you don’t have it) and some free open-source libraries. These come from their own publishers and have their own licences.
7. Things you mustn’t do
- Break the law, or use ClutchCam to harass or harm anyone.
- Try to break into, overload, interfere with or get around the security of the Service.
- Copy, scrape or resell the Service or its content, or pretend to be ClutchCam or another streamer.
8. Availability and changes
ClutchCam is provided “as is” and “as available”. It may be slow, wrong, unavailable, or stop working altogether, and we may change, pause or end any part of it at any time without notice. We may suspend or end anyone’s access if we believe they’ve broken these terms.
9. Our responsibility to you
As far as the law allows:
- we give no promises or guarantees about the Service, including that it will be accurate, reliable, secure, free of errors or suitable for any purpose;
- we aren’t responsible for any loss of income, viewers, followers, sponsorships, data or reputation, or for any account action taken by Twitch or a game publisher;
- we aren’t responsible for any indirect loss, or any loss we couldn’t reasonably have foreseen;
- because ClutchCam is free, our total responsibility to you for anything relating to the Service is limited to £50.
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law doesn’t allow us to limit. If you’re a consumer, nothing here affects your legal rights.
You agree to cover us for any claims, costs or losses that result from your stream or from you breaking these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page, and for important changes we’ll tell streamers directly. If you keep using ClutchCam after a change, you accept the new terms.
11. The law that applies
These terms are governed by Scots law, and the Scottish courts can deal with any dispute. If you live elsewhere in the UK, or in the EU, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
